VICIOUS CIRCLE

Crouched against the panelling, puffing very hard...another trick to catch us unawares. Well you can act very strangely with your back against the wall, but have you ever seen the shadow move when the axe begins to fall? Tightly knitted groups of people passing down the line, queuing for a taste of freedom, deceptively sublime.
CHORUS: Another futile conversation… vicious circle, the same old fruitless observations... vicious circle, again a silly consultation...vicious circle... but you've gotta' be free to break out but you've gotta' break out to be free… hell, it's beyond me!
Shocked absorber, take us in, bounce us on the ground...another chance to feel the thrill of pain. Well we can make merry music if we cling on to the strings, but have you ever seen the dancer when the mute begins to sing? Monopoly boards of crumbling houses, landlords jangling keys...coaxing desperate situations, fattening on fees.
